Ethan Edmans

PhD Student - eedmans@asu.edu

I’m a first-year PhD student interested in astrobiology, specifically in relation to the origins of life and how it might relate to ocean worlds. My project seeks to explain the evolution of molybdenum’s role in nitrogen fixation in ancient oceans. I am very excited to be a part of the team here at ASU and in the Anbar lab, and I’m looking forward to improving my skills as a scientist!

Outside of research I love to spend time with my wife, Lucy, and our dog, Maya. We enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, running, and golfing. I typically spend my time at home playing video games, watching sports, cooking, and so much more.
